“I started my Driving Instructor training journey with another Driving School, who are Nationwide. I found there to be very little in the way of support. I’d heard that The Driving Genie were doing great things, so I spoke to their trainer, Jamie, at great lengths about my training. After that, I decided to make the switch and I couldn’t be happier! I wanted to become part of a team and I knew of The Driving Genie and had heard great things about them. I was travelling quite long distances for many of my lessons and also wanted to stay more local. The Driving Genie have kept my diary full and all within my local area. The team are great and we quite often meet up, swap ideas and generally have some fun! I get much more instructor training work now too, and I love the mix of learners and PDI’s (Potential Driving Instructors) as it gives me variation and sense of satisfaction. “Massive thanks to The Driving Genie (to the whole team) for helping me pass my ADI part three test. Initially, I was thinking of joining one of the big national companies to do my part three training but looking back I am very glad that I decided to join a local one – The Driving Genie.
It has been a brilliant experience for me. One of the benefits of choosing The Driving Genie was that I had a great chance of passing my ADI part three test first time (which I did with an excellent mark). This is because the school offers 100% practical one-to-one in car training.
Furthermore, the school functions as a team. Other friendly and more experienced driving instructors are there to provide help and support. I benefited massively from this because having a few different perspectives on the same subject have enriched my knowledge and understanding of that topic.

I think every one knows that ADI tests are not that easy, but I passed them all on my first attempt. This wouldn’t have happened without the support from the wonderful team Vikki, Jamie, Ross and Jay. Vikki was always ready to sit in my lessons and give the feedback I need and her door was always open for me. I’m so lucky to be with the Driving Genie.
From the day I got my pink licence I am always being asked the question: “Do you need more students?” So my diary is always full.

The training was fantastic and I would walk away after every lesson feeling not only had I learnt a lot, but also had a good time doing so. They are a friendly team and take the teaching at whatever pace you are comfortable with.
All my training was 1 to 1 in car, and being added to the team I immediately had the safety net of not only Vikki, but all of the other instructors in the team to fall back on, if I had any questions or anything I wasn’t sure about.

“After over 20 years in the construction industry, I wanted a complete change of career. Having had my teenage daughter go through the driving lesson process (and struggle with her learning.) I decided I wanted to help other learner drivers to pass their test. I contacted Vikki at The Driving Genie after seeing them around the local area and adverts on their Facebook page. From our initial meeting, to completing my part 1 Theory, Part 2 practical and purchasing my car, I received excellent guidance and advice throughout the whole process.
